报告人简介:
Günter Lorenz, born in Aachen, Germany in 1964 received his Diplom in 1991 and a Ph.D. in 1995 at RWTH Aachen University, both in Chemistry. After 10 years of experience in the chemical and medical device industry, he joined Reutlingen University in 2007. His research interest includes design, modification and characterization of biomaterials. His strong focus is on polyurethanes, polyamides and polyesters for use in biomedical as well as technical applications. A further focus is synthesis of polymers via “Reactive Extrusion” for niche applications. In teaching he gives lectures in “Organic Chemistry”, “Polymer Chemistry” and “Medical Technology”.
内容简介:
His speech represents the potential applications of micro- and nanostructured materials in the emerging area of electronic systems that involve flexible thin film transistors (TFTs) on large area plastic substrates, often referred to as ‘macroelectronics’. Techniques such as dry transfer printing and solution phase assembly are compared for the purpose of generating high-quality thin films of semiconductor nanostructures on plastic substrates. High-performance TFTs and complementary logic gates are demonstrated. The combined use of these materials and techniques may advance the development of practical technologies for emerging applications of macroelectronics in consumer, space and military system.
