Dr. Bao-Hang Han is a professor of supramolecular nanoporous materials at the NCNST, obtained his PhDdegree from Nankai University, Tianjin, China. Before he joined the NCNST, heworked as a post-doctorial fellow at the Max-Planck-Institute of Colloids and Interface,Golm, Germany, the Department of Chemistry, University of Ottawa, Ottawa,Canada, and the Department of Chemistry, University of Toronto, Toronto,Canada.

His current researchinterests focus on preparation of various organic porous materials and porousgrapheme materials employing a wide variety of building blocks and exploringtheir potential application in the fields of energy, environmental, andhealthy, such as hydrogen storage, carbon dioxide capture, gas separation,supercapacitor, biocompatible and biodegradable biomass-based drug deliverysystem.

内容摘要:

Conjugated organic polymers,possessing intrinsic properties of large surface areas, high thermal andchemical stabilities, and low skeleton density, exhibit potential applicationsin gas storage and separation, and catalysis. Based on special three-dimensionalrigid monomers, various heteroatom-containing organic microporous polymers wereprepared through a wide variety of C–C coupling reactions and furthercharacterized at the molecular level by 13C CP/MAS NMR spectrum, aswell as other techniques. All the obtained polymers are chemically andthermally stable. According to the obtained nitrogen physisorption isotherms,the BET specific surface area for these polymers varies between 700 and 2200 m2g–1. The sorption measurements show the polymers possess niceadsorption capacity to hydrogen and carbon dioxide, showing a good gasseparation of carbon dioxide over methane/nitrogen. In the meanwhile, somepolymers containing catalytic moieties display good catalysis ability andcatalyst recycling feature.
